Whitetail-Outfitters.com is home of Buffalo County Outfitters, located in Buffalo County, Wisconsin.

Northwest Wisconsin is recognized as one of the top destinations in North America for an opportunity to harvest a trophy whitetail deer.

This area has become famous for massive bodied whitetail deer with incredible headgear. As a matter of fact, Buffalo County, Wisconsin, has produced more P&Y and B&C entries per square mile than any other county in the United States. Buffalo County Outfitters offers a high quality, affordable hunt in the heart of this area.

Year round, our staff is shed hunting, scouting and constantly identifying new stand sites. We want you to hunt and harvest only mature animals.

For now, we have not imposed a minimum size on our bucks, however, our properties are full of 2 1/2 year old eight and ten point whitetails that need to mature. We would like to see you harvest 3+ year old bucks that gross score 130" or better, and with patience, you may get an opportunity at a true giant.

This is not a guaranteed hunt. We have no high fences. Quite often, Wisconsin DNR will designate Buffalo County as an "earn-a-buck" zone. This requires that you harvest a doe before filling your buck tag. To that end, you will earn your trophy and we'll work very hard to get you an opportunity.

In return, we expect you will hunt just as hard to make the most of your time in the field. Our guide staff is arguably the best in the area and they take pride in putting their hunters on a big buck.

We hunt mostly out of "lock on" trees stands, but if you have special needs or prefer to be on the ground, please let us know in advance and you'll be accommodated.

Meals are included and consist of a light breakfast including bagels, muffins, cereal, granola, juice and coffee. A bag lunch and a hot, home style meal for supper round out the day. Soft drinks and other various beverages are always on ice at the bunkhouse as well.

Please let us know at time of booking if you have special dietary needs so we can be prepared when you arrive. Join us with the attitude that the measure of a hunt is the quality of the entire experience and not just the kill, and you'll undoubtedly take away a lifetime of memories when you leave us!

Hi, my name is Scott Kirkpatrick.

I have been an avid whitetail hunter since I was fourteen years old. I've had the opportunity to hunt these animals in eleven different states including two Canadian provinces.

I have always surrounded myself with friends, family and sportsmen who share my same passions and I've been fortunate enough to become friends with many professional hunters, guides and TV personalities that have provided valuable insight on how to harvest mature whitetails.

I moved to Wisconsin several years ago and purchased this business from longtime friend Ted Marum. Together, we have managed many of these properties for nearly a decade.

I do nothing but manage this business. I punch a clock nowhere except on my farms. My spring and summer regimens includes planting my own food plots, determining waterhole locations and new stand placements.

In the last several years we have guided several dozen clients to P&Y harvests as well as a few B&C class deer. I am passionate about what I do and work as hard as any outfitter I know to put you on giant whitetails.
